Signage & Ads was established in early 2008 to develop publications that will serve the millions of visitors travelling in the Asian region. The publications will provide these visitors, either on holiday or on business, with a comprehensive and handy information tool to help them familiarise themselves with the country or city they are visiting and also to move around easily.
In Malaysia, Signage & Ads launched its first tourist publication, The KL/Selangor Map, in July 2008 with the help and endorsements of Les Clefs d’Or Malaysia and Tourism Town Council Selangor. Plans are underway to launch two more publications, in Langkawi and Malacca in 2009/2010.
In Singapore, The Concierge Map was launched with the help and endorsements of Les Clefs d’Or Singapore and the Association of Rooms Division Executives. Two more new publications are planned for launch in 2009.
Signage & Ads primary source of revenue is derived through the sale of advertisement spaces in its publications. To extend its reach in the tourist market, the company is currently developing two websites to establish and develop a community of travellers who frequent the Asian countries.
The print publications, together with the websites will provide advertisers with an integrated platform to market their products and services to these high spending visitors.
